Reproductive health

This article may not be suitable for younger children. I'm Valeria, I'm 15. My main interest is human anatomy.

The reproductive system is one of the most important systems in our bodies. The most important function of the reproductive system is sexual reproduction. The health of our bodies and our body systems depends only on us. Sexually transmitted infections (STIs), also called sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) and sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), are diseases that have a significant potential for transmission between people through human sexual behavior. Common sexually transmitted infections include gonorrhea, syphilis,

chlamydia, genital warts, genital herpes, the human papillomavirus (HPV), and human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). These are serious diseases transmitted through sex. Treatment for sexually transmitted diseases can take months, years, and even a lifetime.

How to protect yourself from sexually transmitted diseases?

Use contraception first. Regardless of how much you know your boyfriend/girlfriend, be sure to use contraception. The best contraception is male and female condoms. With the correct use of condoms, the chances of contracting sexually transmitted diseases are very small. If you and your partner are planning children, be sure to go to the doctor. This is very important for both the child and you. Also, to be sure that your partner and you are not sick with sexually transmitted diseases, visit a doctor at least once a year (preferably once every half a year).
